Greetings from the NCCU Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Eagle Pride Amplified!
We are pleased to announce the release of the 2025 – 2026 scholarship application for the National Scholarship, also fondly known as the Mr./Ms. Scholarship, and the Roger R. Gregory (herein referred to as the “RRG”) Scholarship.
The Mr./Ms. Scholarship awards $5000/academic year and the RRG has consistently awarded $2000 – $3000/academic year thanks to the dedicated fundraising efforts of the Mr./Ms. Alumni contestants and donors, and the participants of the Roger R. Gregory Golf Tournament, which is held each year Thursday the week of Homecoming.
Thank you all who make it possible for the Association to help deserving honor students, at our beloved alma mater, to succeed academically by relieving some of the stress of worrying about paying for college. Last academic year, your contributions led to an overall award of $90,000.00. Give yourselves a round of applause! Please continue with those generous donations!
If you could help us by circulating the attached flyer to all you may know who attends or will be attending North Carolina Central University in the Fall. The deadline to apply of March 4th will be extended to March 5th by 11:59 p.m. All the necessary information is within the electronic application which applicants may access by scanning the QR code by clicking HERE.

NCCUAA Scholarship
North Carolina Central University Alumni Association offers scholarships to students at NCCU. The scholarship will vary in amount and may be renewable for up to four years. A majority of the National Alumni Scholarship awards made annually go to incoming freshman, applications are acceptable from any student regardless of classification or academic interest. Recipients of these awards are designated as National Alumni Scholars. All National Alumni Scholars are required to carry a full class load. Current National Alumni Scholars must complete the application above to be considered for receiving the scholarship again.
Roger Gregory Academic Scholarship
The purpose of the Roger R. Gregory Academic Scholarship Program is to assist North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in attracting to its campus outstanding students who exhibit high academic, citizenship, leadership characteristics, and desire to contribute positively to the quality of study and life at the University.
